The takeover time for your hire cruiser or waterside holiday home is 2:30pm if you are having a short break or 4pm if you are having a week's holiday.  We endeavour to have your accommodation ready for you for the stated takeover times and on occasions your cruiser / holiday home may be ready earlier, where this is the case we are happy for you to have the cruiser / move into the holiday home early. Early check in can never be guaranteed. We would ask for your patience and understanding when the stated times are delayed for operational reasons.

Yes, please. All of our cruiser holidays start and finish at our boatyard in Wroxham.  Please return the boat by 9am on your day of departure, in a clean and tidy condition. During the holiday season we need the boat to be returned on time to enable us to prepare for the next holiday makers. Your cooperation in this is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately not. In order for us to prepare the boat to the highest standard of engineering and cleanliness for our next holiday maker we need it returned to us by 9am.

Yes, you can fish from all of our cruisers once moored up or from the outside of any of our ground floor waterside properties. With its rivers and inland waterways stocked full of species such as pike, perch, chub, bream, roach and tench, the Broads offers some of the best rod fishing around...so even the most inexperienced will soon get a bite. The coarse fishing season runs from 16th June to 14th March, you will need a current Environment Agency License, available from post offices or online from the Environment Agency.

This varies on a combination of the following: tides, type of cruiser, distance traveled on your holiday and the amount of time the heating has been running for. Unfortunately it's not possible to estimate before your holiday begins how much fuel you will use. You can make a huge difference on the amount of fuel used by traveling with the tides (not against them), stick to the speed limits or just below, there is no rush, you are on holiday!

You don't need a licence to drive a cruiser and no experience is necessary. When you arrive you will be given a full demonstration of all the equipment on board and a trial run will ensure you are happy driving and mooring the boat. If you have any questions or need additional advice whilst on your holiday a member of our helpful team are only a phone call away on 01603 782207.
