What's On Board

Whichever cruiser that you choose for your Broads boating holiday you can rest assured that all of our cruisers are fully equipped to ensure that you have a safe, comfortable and carefree holiday.

On Board Facilities

  • Fully equipped galley (including cutlery, crockery and utensils) with gas cooker/hob, microwave and electric fridge.
  • Comfortable berths (all duvets and linen are provided)
  • 2 Towels per crew member
  • Flush toilets
  • Hot and cold water
  • Temperature-controlled showers
  • Warm air heating
  • Flat screen colour television: DVD player: radio/CD player
  • Shaver points: hairdryer (low wattage 240v): mobile phone charge point (requires 12v in-car adaptor)
  • 240v electricity supply (via inverter with wattage restrictions or shore power) Please note that certain appliances, particularly hair straighteners are not suitable for use on board
  • Full range of deck gear (including boat hook, life belt, anchors, ropes, etc): Manual mud weight unless otherwise stated
  • FREE buoyancy aids loaned to all passengers

What To Pack

Your boat will be very well equipped with all necessary equipment listed above. Additional specific items you may want to bring include:

  • Non-slip rubber soled shoes
  • Binoculars for bird and wildlife watching
  • A camera for capturing those special moments
  • Phone chargers (12v or 240v)
  • A torch for walking back to your cruiser after dark
  • Clothes to suit all weather conditions
  • Sun protection- you can burn easily by the water
  • Toiletries (preferably phosphate free)
  • CDs, DVD’s, board games, games for the onboard games console, please see individual boat page for console type.
  • Food, snacks and drinks (Please note under-counter fridges with ice box compartment, so much smaller than a domestic fridge)
  • Remember cooking essentials like oil, butter, salt and pepper etc.
  • Some extra loo roll (non-quilted)
  • Camping chairs

We recommend that you pack your luggage in soft bags which fold away rather than suitcases which are difficult to store on board.

Please note that there is a large independent supermarket a short walk from our boat yard to purchase all of your provisions before you set sail.
