Holidays on the Norfolk Broads are perfect for everyone, whether you’re a family, a couple or a group of friends, there is so much to do and plenty to see. If you prefer to stay on dry land, our cottage holidays in Wroxham are ideal for your next Broads holiday.
From our waterside cottages, you can explore the beautiful Broads villages of Wroxham and Hoveton, with shopping, restaurants and pubs to enjoy. Or if you’re staying in the summer and you would like to enjoy the Broads from the water, why not hire a Day Boat from our sister company, Broads Tours. If you haven’t the confident to captain your own vessel, Broads Tours also run a schedule of guided River Trips, taking you along the Broads whilst providing you with some Broads history and wildlife facts. Another great way to see all the Broads has to offer is with the Bure Valley Railway, which takes you from Wroxham to the historical market town of Aylsham. Travelling through the Norfolk countryside, it’s a great way to immerse yourself in our diverse Norfolk wildlife and scenery.
If you’re missing the sound of the city, why not take a train or bus to the cultural city of Norwich. Norwich Cathedral and Castle will indulge anyone’s need for history and beautiful architecture and if you’re in the mood for food, the city has an abundance of pubs, cafes, restaurants and diners to appease any appetite. Shoppers are in for a treat too, with high street names in Chapelfield Shopping Centre, as well as boutique shops in the historic Norwich Lanes.
