If you are setting out soon on your Norfolk Broads holiday, we are sure you are already busy planning your days.

Luckily for families heading out on a boating holiday this year, there are plenty of amazing attractions that have reopened and are welcoming visitors. Of course, many have their own guidelines and conditions for entry right now, so be sure to check their websites for details.

Remember you may need to book in advance to guarantee entry.

Here are a few of our favourites…

Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden
Boasting 130 acres of stunning gardens, Fairhaven is a natural oasis for wildlife fans. The perfect place for little legs to let off some steam.

Wroxham Barns
The perfect stop prior to beginning your boating holiday, Wroxham Barns have recently reopened their junior farm. Why not spend the morning here, before your check in? You can even stock up on local produce to get your holiday off to the best possible start.

RSPB Strumpshaw Fen
With access via moorings at Brundall Church Fen or Cantley Trails, Strumpshaw Fen offers the opportunity to get close to nature. Currently a one-way system is in place.

Head to the Zoo
Norfolk boasts plenty of great Zoos. Choose from Banham Zoo, Africa Alive, Amazona Zoo or Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens to keep the whole family occupied for the day.

Bewilderwood
Unique and mesmerizing, Bewilderwood offers the perfect opportunity to let young and old alike run wild. The “Twiggle team” are working hard to reopen on the 18th July ready for explorers!

Norwich Market
Open Monday to Saturday (a few stalls are even open on a Sunday) Norwich Market is one of the oldest (and largest) outdoor markets in the UK. Explore the quaint open air market and make the most of the fabulous local produce available.

Of course there are plenty of other places to visit during your trip, we have a few more listed in our local attraction guide.

In addition to great tourist attractions, most of the restaurants and pubs along and near to the Norfolk Broads have also now reopened their doors. Some are only offering takeaway services and outdoor dining, but we see that as the perfect excuse to enjoy alfresco dining onboard your cruiser after a long day exploring.

Wherever you end up during your holiday we would love to be a part of it. Remember to share your photos using #getonbroad or via Facebook and Instagram @norfolk_broads_direct
