How To Book Your Boating Holiday

Booking a boating holiday with us at Norfolk Broads Direct couldn’t be simpler.  Just select the Broads cruiser to suit your needs from our fleet of over 25 different classes. Holiday Durations

Next you will need to decide how long you wish to spend afloat.  Whether you would prefer to take a long weekend, extended mid-week break or a full week’s holiday or maybe even longer, we can be as flexible as you wish.

Choose from a 3 night break, Friday to Monday or Saturday to Tuesday.  Midweek breaks can be Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday.  Weekly holidays can start on a Monday, Tuesday, Friday or Saturday.  Longer holidays can also start on any of these days.

For a short break the boat can be collected from 2:30pm, with weekly holidays starting at 4pm, all boats need to be returned by 9am on day of departure. (Please see individual cruiser information for individual start dates).

Price

The cost of the boat is dependent on your start date and the duration of your holiday Each individual cruiser has both weekly comparison prices along with the price for either a short break (this can be for either a mid-week or weekend break) or a full weeks holiday. For 10/11 night holidays, take the first week’s hire price and add 50% of the following weeks hire charge.

Please be aware, Norfolk Broads Direct require a minimum of 2 adults staying on each cruiser.

Fuel

Your cruiser will be ready for you with a full tank of fuel; your deposit is an average of what we think your chosen cruiser may use. On your return we will re-fill the fuel tank and if you have used under your deposit we will refund you, or if you have used over you may owe us.

Damage Waiver

Although all the boats are insured, we require you to pay a non-refundable wavier to cover you for accidental damage caused to the boat, its equipment or to any third party. Alternatively, you have the option of paying a refundable security deposit, some party types will be required to pay this. For further details please refer to our terms and conditions section.

Pets

There is no need to leave your best friend at home. All of our holiday cruisers are available for dog friendly holidays and there are plenty of areas to let them off to stretch their legs. There is a dog charge payable on arrival, £25 per dog for a short break and £40 per dog for a weeks break. A refundable £20 deposit is required for the loan of a dog life jacket, there are a limited number of these so please call the office on 01603 782207 to make sure we have one available for you.

Check Availability

You are now ready to check if your chosen holiday is available for your preferred dates. You can either check availability online for our Broads boating holidays or by enquiring directly with us via email or by telephone on 01603 782207. Boating holidays can start on either a Monday, Tuesday, Friday or Saturday. It is always a good idea to have a couple of options ready in case your first choice of holiday is not available.

Book Online or Via The Telephone

Bookings can be made online or over the telephone. If you prefer to book online select the Book Now option and you will be taken through a short process to secure your holiday. Alternatively to book by telephone, call us on 01603 782207 and one of our reception team will be delighted to book your Norfolk Broads holiday for you.

Payment Methods

If you are booking online our secure payment gateway is via SagePay. Bookings made via the telephone can be paid for by debit or credit card. We do not accept American Express or Diners Club cards. Alternatively, payments can be made by cheque. Cheques must be received within 7 days of booking.

Holiday Deposits

The initial payments for all Norfolk Broads Direct holidays is as follows:

The full balance then becomes due 70 days before your holiday start date.

Please be aware that at certain times we will offer the opportunity to pay a low deposit of £25 per week as an early booking incentive.  The balance of the deposit, see above, will then be due on or before the 1st February of the year of travel.
